TYSONS CORNER, Va., Jan 20, 2023—Old Dominion National Bank (“ODNB”) today announced the promotion of Jennifer H. Kim to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Ms. Kim joined Old Dominion in October 2017 as SVP/Controller, and was promoted to SVP/Chief Accounting Officer in April 2019.
“We are pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer to Chief Financial Officer, and we welcome her to our executive team,” said Mark Merrill, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. “Jennifer brings over 20 years of demonstrated leadership with strong institutional knowledge in the accounting and finance arena. Her extensive experience in business banking and her notable accomplishments since she joined the Bank in 2017 have been extremely important to the Bank’s recent success. In Jennifer’s new role, she will oversee all aspects of the Company’s finance and accounting functions, including financial and regulatory reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, and financial forecasting for our organization.”
Prior to joining Old Dominion, Ms. Kim served as Controller for two community banks in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area, and was responsible for all aspects of accounting and regulatory reporting overseeing general accounting functions. She also has experience in public accounting, working for a firm that specialized in external audits for community banks. Ms. Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in accounting, at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida. In addition, she is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management, Charlottesville, Virginia.
